I was born and raised on the east side of Michigan in a small town called Lapeer. I pursued a bachelor's degree in Accounting after high school at Ferris State, and fell in love with West Michigan. After many visits to Grand Rapids, I knew it was where I wanted to end up. I love that it offers everything from city excitement to beach scenes all within less than an hour drive. Also makes for a great place to take photos!

My husband and I met here 7 years ago and married in 2023. We welcomed our first son, Dawson in February 2025. He has been such a joy and completed our little family (us + 2 rescue pups) perfectly! He's the inspiration and reason I decided to invest in this fun little side hustle (as you can imagine, my entire camera roll is that sweet baby) I get to experience with all of you!

When I'm not taking pictures, I'm crunching numbers for the budget department of Kent County. I love and value both of my jobs, as they both take care of my family in different ways. Working full-time makes my availability limited to evenings and weekends; however, as an incredibly Type-A, (self-diagnosed) OCD, organized and detail-oriented person (essentially what led me into my career field), photography has been a more creative outlet for me that I have found fulfillment in.
